Went to Australia. Saw how the surfers lived. Saw how the aboriginies lived. Jumped out of an airplane, swam in shark infested waters and almost got pooed on by flying foxes. Grilled and ate kangaroo and passed up the Outback Steakhouse. Trekked upon an ancient naturally occurring holy ground, visited the land of Steve and celebrated my birthday twice.

Had to work the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California. Pretty place. Great staff. So many pumpkins. I had a chance to walk down to the beach as the sun was setting. The wind was enormous and the sky was cold. There was a sanctuary in the cliff. The ducks and I were there. ༺

Took a weekend vacation to Ithaca, NY to see some old friends. Built a house and saw gorges. I also slept outside in a tent for the first time in a long time. I was excited to see the first of the leaves changing color to fall. The weather was perfect. ♽

I visited my brother in New Zealand in June and got a chance to see some amazing places. We drove around for five days all over the North Island. Saw the biggest tree in New Zealand, Bridal Veil Falls, glowworms, and even climbed Mt. Taranaki. ☺

Went to the Eastern Shore of Maryland yesterday. Crazy weather to drive over the bridge in. Quite stormy. Clouds are always good for photographs. This one could be my fav of the set. ☂
